Finance Coordinator – Westmoreland Manor Business Office

Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for the position of Finance Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to provide support and assistance to the CFO, to assist in the preparation of the budget, and resolve budget and financial matters with Manor department heads.Essential duties include, but are not limited to:Assists in the development and preparation of the budget and maintaining electronic and paper budget information.Prepares payroll for assigned departments.Prepares monthly input, current and prior receivable sheets, etc. Bills for non-receipt of income, checks all income received and makes monthly adjustments.Finalizes cash and month end reports for submission to Administrator.Prepares payments; reviews receivables and bills; makes transfers for payments; inputs data for monetary transfers; prepares collection letters and other follow-up on past due bills; maintains monthly, year-to-date, and other records.    Gathers and assists in audit preparation and month end closing.Assists in cost reports preparation.Submits bills and processes appeals.Maintains and submits bad debt log.Attends meetings in absence of the CFO.Applicants should have an associate’s degree, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition, minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts receivable and collections involving resident accounting, working knowledge of current Medicare parts A and B, and Medical Assistance regulations and billing required. Working knowledge of Managed Care systems pertaining to Long Term Care, and their individual requirements is required. Proficiency in Word, Excel and previous experience with Long Term Care software (Point Click Care).Position not remote.Vaccination Notice: Per CMS requirements, Westmoreland Manor requires all new hires and employees to submit proof of full vaccination with one of the four authorized COVID-19 vaccines; this vaccination is considered a condition of employment for all employees.
