RN Assessment Coordinator – Westmoreland Manor, 5K Sign-on Bonus for Eligible Candidates

Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of  RN Assessment Coordinator for Westmoreland Manor.

Candidates must possess the ability to audit and monitor nursing care for compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice, the health care facility, and governmental regulations.

Successful applicants will possess:

Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing; 
Ability to assemble, analyze and prepare reports. 
Ability to interact effectively with the case management teams of other health care disciplines.
Ability to audit and monitor nursing care for compliance with policies, procedures and standards of nursing practice, the health care facility and government regulations.

Education and Experience

Graduation from a state approved school of nursing 
Current registration with the State Board of Nursing Examiners by examination as a Registered Nurse
2-5 years professional experience in LTC and MDS experience.
Proficiency in operating personal computer (excel and word) and using various types of software to input medical information. 
Previous experience with Utilization Review/ or Quality Assurance within the last 3 years required.

*Sign-On Bonus criteria includes, but is not limited to: Bonus program only offered for candidates hired from July 13th, 2020 to November 30th, 2020. Bonus to be disbursed in four payments over the course of 2-year period (6 month, 1 year. 18 month, and 2 year mark from first date of employment). Employee’s continued eligibility dependent on sufficient attendance and punctuality. Former employees and those offered a position within the last month prior to the launch of the sign-on bonus program are not eligible. Casual, temp or part-time nurses or nurse aides are not eligible. Contact facility or refer to sign-on bonus guidelines for details. Other conditions may apply.
