Applications are being accepted for the position of Warden at the Westmoreland County Prison. The position requires the ability to direct the complete operation of a Correctional Institution with a potential population of over 500 inmates. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field, with six (6) to nine (9) years of correctional experience as a warden or deputy warden or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
The successful candidate will direct a correctional program that includes all aspects of running a modern Correctional Institution which includes the care, custody, and control of all inmates placed in the institution and the development and training of staff.
