Unit Assistant 3P- 11P Westmoreland Manor

Westmoreland Manor is seeking motivated, energetic individuals to join our team as Unit Assistants for the 3:00pm-11:00pm at the rate of $15.00 per hour! There is also a $0.40 shift differential for this position. As a unit assistant with us, you will be part of a large, dedicated staff devoted to caring for residents in a 408-bed facility. We are seeking applicants who are able to succeed in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate great multi-tasking capabilities!The purpose of this position is assist in the care of residents, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, by assisting unit staff and enabling staff additional time for direct resident care. Job duties include but are not exclusive or all-inclusive:Answering call lights and obtaining assistance as neededMaking unoccupied beds, distributing snacks, filling water pitchers, and passing traysMaintaining nursing unit area, kitchenette, and refrigerator cleanliness and neatnessSorting and distributing clothingTransporting residentsQualified Applicants must possess:High school graduate or equivalency and successful completion of the pre-employment screening processAbility to do heavy lifting and walking throughout the facilityAbility to push, pull and bendMust successfully complete unit assistant training at facility upon hireVaccination Notice: Per CMS requirements, Westmoreland Manor requires all new hires and employees to submit proof of full vaccination with one of the four authorized COVID-19 vaccines; this vaccination is considered a condition of employment for all employees.
