Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Supervisor of Food Service for Westmoreland Manor Dietary Department. Job duties include providing daily assistance and direction to food service employees in the safe preparation of meals, provides assistance and direction in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of food service areas, schedules food service employees to attain adequate coverage, develops and implements theme luncheons and specialty holiday meals, and responsible for department payroll, scheduling and other related functions.
Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent in General Studies. Associates Degree in culinary arts/ food service or related field is preferred. 2-4 years of previous experience in food service with previous supervisory experience where standards of food regulations, food codes, and standards of safety have become familiar.
County residency must be established within 180 days and maintained throughout employment. Resumes and cover letters should be sent to:
