Apply today, we want to talk to you!DESCRIPTION OF WORKA County Social Worker 1 conducts assessments of independent living needs and develops living case plans for an assigned client base. This will include applying resources for educational and vocational training, basic living skills, and conducting workshops that promote self-confidence and transitional skills for independent living. Strong communication skills are necessary for client interaction as well as the coordination of necessary services within the agency and community resources. This position also prepares reports, provides agency and provider staff training, and actively participates in meetings and court case reviews.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Graduation from an approved graduate school with a master’s degree in social work.Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.  Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
