Sisters of Charity's Greensburg harvest sends wheat on journey from field to mill to oven

Sister Barbara Ann Smelko, project coordinator, displays a field of wheat in the garden Monday on the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill campus.
The wheat is being harvested and will be sent to St. Vincent’s gristmill and eventually used for bread.

When the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill give thanks for their daily bread, they’ll know every step of how it arrived on their plates.
