Seton Hill sisters' online stories provide window into regional history, Catholic women's lives

Casey Bowser, archivist for the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill in Greensburg, views a "sister spotlight" entry for the late Sister M. Alexine Beam, part of an online collection of oral histories she helped to create for members of the community of women religious.

Sister Francis Louise Honeychuck helped her mother clean a casket factory in Scottdale and watched over the two youngest of her five siblings after her father died in the 1918 flu pandemic, just before she turned 4.
