Searchers seek Unity woman based on map of 'simplified version of where she fell'

First responders and Pennsylvania State Police watch as the excavation continues on Thursday in the search for 64-year-old Elizabeth Pollard who is believed to have fallen in a sinkhole on Monday. Pollard’s family reported her missing on Monday night.

Searchers believe 64-year-old Elizabeth Pollard fell through the ceiling of a long-closed mine in Unity and are excavating the site based on 75-year-old maps of the shafts under Unity’s Marguerite neighborhood.
