Recreation (Floor) Aide – Westmoreland Manor Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for a full-time Recreation (Floor) Aide in the Recreation Department at the starting rate of $15.45 per hour. Job duties include but are not limited to conducting a variety of therapeutic and diversional activities for residents, documenting resident daily participation and progress, and file patient progress sheets as required. The shift for this position is variable with rotating weekends and holidays.    This position requires the ability to work one-on-one and in groups with individuals with behaviors and/or dementia to provide redirection and engaging activities.Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent, and have previous experience in Occupational Therapy and/or Recreation Therapy. Experience in dementia and long-term care preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct a variety of diverse and therapeutic activities. Must maintain resident’s activities charts and do heavy lifting as required. Must be able to type at least 30 WPM.
