Quality Assurance Manager

Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Quality Assurance Manager in the Information Systems. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes for various assignments in County departments by creating, implementing, and monitoring processes. Job duties include but are limited to interpreting building and complying with all applicable quality assurance standards, maintaining complaint and non-conformance processes, development of new standards for processes, and identifying training needs to ensure County-wide compliance.Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Degrees in Computer Science, Quality Assurance, and/ or Business Management is preferred. Six Sigma, ISO or CMMI certification is preferred. Work experience should include 1-2 years of working with quality assurance, computers and knowledge of quality assurance protocols, or any acceptable combination of experience and training.County residency must be established within 180 days and maintained throughout employment.
