PT Laundry Workers – Westmoreland Manor

Westmoreland Manor currently has two openings and is seeking applicants for part-time Laundry Workers at the rate of $15.00 per hour. The purpose of this position is to dry and fold linens, towels, and clothing. This position will also cross-train and fill-in on the laundry equipment operator (washing) side as-needed.Job duties include but are not exclusive or all-inclusive:Loads and unloads dryersFolds blankets, towels, linens, and personal itemsFills and delivers carts of cleansed and folded laundry to unitsCleans lint filters on dryersRequirements include the ability to operate a variety of laundry equipment including washers, dryers, folding machines, etc., and maneuver/lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds. Must be able to comprehend and interpret daily linen supply records and follow verbal and written instruction. Must be able to work effectively in a laundry room environment with varying temperature and humidity. Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent. NOTE: Lift test required to observe ability to safely and efficiently lift up to 75 pounds.
