Penn-Trafford students nominated for National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences award

Dressed as a princess, Lilli Durante of Manor, races around the main lobby of UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, after her schoolmates from Penn-Trafford’s Sunrise Elementary School donated more than 1,500 toys and $2,300 to the Hematology and Oncology Treasure Chest, on Oct. 18, 2019. A Penn-Trafford student-produced news piece about the toy drive has been nominated for a national NATAS award.

Last spring, two groups of Penn-Trafford High School video production students tied for first place in the National Academy of Television Arts & Science regional competition.
