The Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Part Time Deputy.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Serving and enforcing Orders of the Court.
Transporting prisoners.
Courtroom Security.
Executing bench and arrest warrants.
Education/Training:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess and maintain a valid PA driver’s license
No criminal record.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Training or experience in a law enforcement related field and/or ACT 120 certification preferred.
If applicants are not ACT 120 trained, they must successfully pass pre-employment physical fitness standards screening
