These patients might include someone in your family, a neighbor or coworker; anyone undergoing surgery, suffering trauma or vehicle accidents, premature babies, and those fighting cancer. These are just some examples of people who may require blood transfusions to survive. By giving blood, you can play a direct role in saving their lives.
