Office Manager – Sheriff's Department

Westmoreland County is seeking qualified
applicants for the position of Office Manager in the Sheriff’s Department. The
purpose of this position is to ensure the financial facets of the Sheriff’s Office in
compliance with State and Local auditing requirements; organize and maintain
the budget.
 Overview:
 Job duties
include maintaining the Sheriff’s Office budget,
completing payroll and issuing of checks. The job also includes maintaining and
balances three separate bank statements, performing end-of-the-month turnover,
acts as point of contact for Local and State auditors, resolving fiscal, filing
and procedural questions and problems.
Other
responsibilities are ensure the office is in 
is to process and record Constable service fees, remits monthly bills to
DRO, U.S. Marshall’s and Clerk of Courts, bi-annually prepares and remits funds
collected for Deputy surcharge and validation, reviews and processes invoices
for payments, orders supplies, tracks and completes PCCD reimbursement
vouchers.
