THE POSITIONThe Forensic Program Specialist 2 position is with the Westmoreland County BHDS office located in downtown Greensburg behind the Courthouse. Westmoreland County offers excellent benefits including health/vision insurance, 10 vacation days after 1 year of service, 2 personal days, 15 sick days, and 13 paid holidays.DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe Forensic Program Specialist 2 will be responsible for assessing and coordinating the forensic care needs for inmates identified as Seriously Mental Ill (SMI) in Westmoreland County Prison. The Program Specialist will provide assessment, education, planning, care coordination, identification of resources, and service facilitation from a person-centered approach with the goal of increasing the quality of life and prioritizing their needs and goals.
