Memorial Day events will include return of parade, rededication of Export veterans' monument

A crew from Drnjevich Concrete works on the final piece of the new Export veterans’ memorial, which was moved from the former American Legion to a spot off the Westmoreland Heritage Trail in Export.

After a 2020 Memorial Day that was pared back due to covid-19 concerns, the White Valley AMVETS and local American Legions will bring back their full slate of events this year, including the re-dedication of the Export veterans’ memorial, recently relocated closer to the Westmoreland Heritage trail.
