Mechanic I – Public Works

Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for Mechanic I in the Public Works Department.
Requirements are as follows:

*Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License. (CDL)
*PA State Inspection and Emission License.
*Valid A/C Recovery certification.
*At least one Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
in Automotive and at least one in Medium/Heavy Trucks.

This is a full time position based on an 8 hour day- 40 hour work week. Hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Starting salary is $18.31 per hour. Benefits begin after 45 day probation period.
