Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Manager of Technical Support for our Information Systems department. Job duties include but are not limited to providing assistance and support for helpline employees, ensuring county computer systems and electronics meet the needs of end users, assign, manage, and maintain service requests, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, meet and communicates with IS staff and department heads to ensure new and current systems are functioning properly, and service as project manager for hardware/software/equipment implantation.
Applicants must have at least two (2) years of work experience as a support technician or IT manager in a computer related environment. Also, an Associate’s Degree in Information Systems or related field is preferred. The salary for this position is $47,908.49 plus medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
