Maintenance Worker I PT – Westmoreland Manor

Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for the position of a part-time Maintenance Worker I at the rate of $15.15 per hour. The purpose of this position is to perform minor repairs throughout the facility and to perform grounds maintenance.Job duties include, but are not limited to:Performing minor repairs and other service on plumbing and equipmentCompletes painting and minor carpentry projects as requiredPerforming grounds maintenanceSuccessful candidates should possess:Possess a high diploma, GED, or equivalent and ability to read, write and follow instructions and learn work routine.2 years previous experience in electrical, plumbing and other general maintenance.Knowledge of the use of equipment and procedures used in grounds maintenance.Ability to operate a variety of motor vehicles, including bobcat, trucks, tractors, etc.Ability to use electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tools, including power tools.Ability to lift 100 pounds or more and carry for considerable distance.Ability to maneuver weights in excess of 400 pounds with use of dolly.Must have a current valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.Ability to perform work indoors and outdoors.Successful completion of Westmoreland Manor maintenance worker assessment, both physical and written portions.Previous experience in a long term care facility preferred. Vaccination Notice: Per CMS requirements, Westmoreland Manor requires all new hires and employees to submit proof of full vaccination with one of the four authorized COVID-19 vaccines; this vaccination is considered a condition of employment for all employees.
