Ligonier firefighters secure ownership of 85-year-old borough building at auction

The Ligonier Volunteer Hose Company 1 won Saturday’s public auction for the former Ligonier municipal building at 112 N. Fairfield St. The 85-year-old building functioned as the town’s police station until 2019. It still houses a meeting space and Ligonier fire trucks.

There was little drama during Saturday’s auction of the former Ligonier Borough Municipal Building.
