Licensed Practical Nurse – Westmoreland Manor – $7,500 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants*!!! NEW 2024 RATES!!! Westmoreland Manor is seeking motivated, energetic individuals to join our team as Licensed Practical Nurses at the rate of $26.50 per hour plus a $7,500.00 sign-on bonus! As an LPN with us, you will be part of a large, dedicated staff devoted to caring for residents in a County-owned facility. We are seeking applicants able to succeed in a fast-paced environment and multi-task! This position requires orientation on various shifts; after completion of orientation possible opportunities are on 3P-11P, and other shifts according to staffing needs and bids. This position is to administer nursing care and provide medications and other nursing treatments to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and to maintain records of resident condition and treatments performed. Job duties include but are not exclusive or all-inclusive: Administers medications, tube feedings, and other treatments; monitors resident’s status and documents as necessary. Checks and documents vital signs and other pertinent information. Completes resident monthly summaries. Checks medication supplies; orders medications as required; performs narcotic count with prior shift; fills out narcotic and psychotropic drug flow sheets.Sets up medication and supply carts.Documents condition of hospital returns, new admissions, and transfer residents. Qualified Applicants must possess:Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. Must possess and maintain a current valid registration with Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners. Physical ability to do heavy lifting.CHRI check done prior to hire. *Sign-On Bonus criteria includes, but is not limited to: Bonus program only offered for candidates applying for full-time and hired on or after February 12th, 2024. Bonus to be disbursed in four payments over the course of a 1-year period (after 45 calendar days, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year mark from first date of employment). Installment amounts detailed in guidelines. Employee’s continued eligibility dependent on attendance and punctuality, as defined in guidelines. Those offered a position within the last month prior to the launch of the sign-on bonus program are not eligible. Casual, temp, self-schedule, or part-time nurses or nurse aides are not eligible. Former employees only eligible if this is the second incidence of rehire and have not left in the three months prior to start of program.
