Juvenile Services Supervisor

Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Juvenile Services Supervisor.  The purpose of this position is to supervise juvenile resident activities and functions along with supervise staff of duty. Some of the job duties of this position include the following:Supervise, conduct, and coordinate resident activities and functions including visitations, meals, life skills program, recreation and shower activities, admission and discharge.Ensures the safety and security of residents and staff, conducts room, property, and other checks.Enforces detention rules and implements disciplinary actions through verbal orders behavior modification program, problem solving, conflict resolution, isolation, crisis intervention, etc.Prepares verbal and written reports as required.Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice, Corrections, or a related field. County residency must be established within 180 days and maintained throughout employment.
