Job Duties
The purpose of this position is to conduct hearings related to dependency cases. Conducts quasi-judicial hearings including shelter care, detention, adjudication and disposition, permanency, dispositional review hearings. These hearings include but are not limited to: hearing all testimony, deciding issues of credibility, operation digital audio recording equipment, making findings of fact and recommendations, admitting documents into evidence.
Job Qualifications
Juris Doctor Degree and licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and at least three years of family law or other legal experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Thorough knowledge of applicable statutes, rules, regulations, and case law. Proficient at manual and computerized legal research.
