Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Human Resource Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to assist in recruitment efforts, reviews applications, interviews candidates, and schedules drug testing and other pre-employment testing primarily for the 24/7 operations such as the Prison and Juvenile facilities. This position also tracks and monitors the FMLA process for employees. Applicant also completes personnel action forms, monitors and awards bids, processes unemployment claims, and long term disability paperwork. Other responsibilities include conducting investigations into alleged violations of County Policies and grievances, analyzes finding and prepares recommendation.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Labor Relations. Along with, seven (7) years additional supervisory experience in a human resource in a governmental setting or similar workplace is preferred.
