Hempfield bike run to recognize veterans lost to suicide, stress prevention efforts

Motorcyclists leave the U.S. Army Reserve post in Greensburg following a 2021 ceremony honoring 13 members of the 14th Quartermaster killed in an Iraqi Scud missile attack during Operation Desert Storm. The ceremony was part of the third annual Fallen Heroes Run organized by Monroeville’s Operation Vet NOW.

About 17 U.S. veterans are lost to suicide each day.
