Heavy snow, 40 below zero temps stop Latrobe man’s Alaskan journey

Tim Hewitt’s hopes of trekking some 1,300 miles through the Alaskan wilderness were smashed this week by life-threatening temperatures of 40 below zero and deep snow that buried any remnants of a path.
