Westmoreland County Department of Financial Administration is seeking applicants for the position of Fiscal Officer/Disaster Recovery Specialist.
Job duties include but are not limited to assisting in grant writing, preparing, and monitoring, maintaining inventories of fixed assets, serving as a back -up for the Purchasing Card Administrator, assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the County Budget, and assisting in CARES Act and other COVID-19 related funding sources reporting and monitoring.
Applicants should have an associate’s degree (bachelors preferred) in Accounting/Finance/Business Management with 2 years experience in government accounting or finance or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
PA driver’s license is required. Minimum of 2 years experience with accounting processes, finances and/or grant reporting. Experience with content management systems (AS400 New World Financial System), Microsoft Excel, Online Banking, etc a plus.
