Finance Director-DHS

Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Finance Director for our Department of Human Services. The purpose of this position is to develop and implement fiscal policies and procedures across the entire department, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations., provide financial oversight for all departmental budgets, grants, and contracts, manage financial risk across the department, developing mitigation plans as needed, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, develop and deliver regular financial reports to departmental leadership, facilitate communication and collaboration across the department to ensure that financial goals are achieved,  and  other job duties as required.Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience is accepted. Experience of at least 7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a large, complex organization is required.
