Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Nursing position. Job duties include but are not limited to establishing, administering, communicating and enforcing all policies and requirements of the Nursing department. This position will also be responsible for ensuring nursing staff is providing quality and appropriate resident / patient care that meets or exceeds regulatory standards, maintains administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care and of medications and treatments, develops and implements the written staffing plans and nursing schedules that reflects the needs of the resident and resident population, and manages clinical aspects of state or federal government survey processes.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN required, diploma RN acceptable. Currently licensed as an RN by the State. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and guidelines of State and Federal Agencies. Five to seven years experience in a related nursing field; three of which were in a recent Supervisory/Assistant Director of Nursing capacity. Geriatric experience required. Previous Director of Nursing experience preferred. Experience with Johnston Field Office Division of Nursing Field Office.
