If you have experience in administering programs for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or Developmental Services, this job is for you!DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe DS Program Specialist 1 administers, plans, coordinates, implements, monitors, and provides technical assistance for a portion of the Intellectual Disabilities/Autism program under the direction of the DS Program Director, BH/DS Deputy Administrator, and BH/DS Administrator.This position will review, approve and authorize services within the individual support plans (ISP) as per the AE Operating Agreement, Medicaid Waiver programs and ODP regulations. When needed, complete monitoring of ISP auto-approvals submitted by SCO’s. Complete quarterly quality and criteria reviews of critical revisions and annual review ISP’s that automatically approve upon SCO submissions. Develop and monitor CAP completion and remediation activities. Process Advance Notice and Fair Hearing notice as appropriate.You will perform functions required by the Incident Management Process including review of incidents within 24 hours of filing to ensure individual health and safety; conduct certified investigations, approve incidents once finalized, provide technical assistance to providers and all other actions required by related ODP bulletins. Assist with individual and provider risk management and mitigation activities including participating in MDTs, providing technical assistance to teams, collecting, compiling and analyzing data.
