The Developmental Services Program Specialist (County Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 1) position focuses on certified investigation peer reviews and is with the Westmoreland County Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (BHDS) office located in downtown Greensburg behind the Courthouse. This role administers, plans, coordinates, implements, monitors, and provides technical assistance for a portion of the ID/A program under the direction of the DS Program Director, BHDS Deputy Administrator, and BHDS Administrator. You will be responsible for qualifying new and existing ID/A) providers into Pennsylvania’s ID/A provider network, assisting in conducting quality assessment and improvement oversight of our county’s providers, and acting as the point person for performance based contracting. This includes providing support to the provider risk screening process, acting as a co-lead for the administrative review committee, and coordinating with other offices to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.
