Take the next step in your career with supportive team!DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis County Mental Health Program Specialist 1 position specializes in complex care and serves as Children & Youth Cross-System Coordinator. This position supports planning and staffing efforts to serve families, children, and adolescents from birth to age twenty-one identified in two or more of the following groups:children and adolescents who have been prescribed for residential level of care;infants who are born to parents with substance use or abuse needs or a parent experiencing post-partum/maternal depression;at risk for multiple inpatient readmissions or those who have experienced multiple hospital admissions within a one-year period;a member of a priority or special needs population including Intellectually Disabled, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or similar;youth and their families who are seeking or receiving Intensive Behavioral Health Services and present with complex behavioral health, developmental services, medical, or other life care needs. Additionally, this position will provide follow-up and technical assistance in procuring and linking appropriate resources. This includes offering outreach and education about the program offices and higher-level of care programs. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate multiple program offices and contracted providers. Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.You may need to attend emergency situation outside your normal working hours.  Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days per week, after completion of a probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Greensburg.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional level experience in the field of mental health; and a bachelor’s degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
