Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Director of Human Resources. The purpose of this position is to provide assistance with the general administration of Human Resources Department activities and functions. Job duties include but are limited to assisting the Director of Human Resources with daily functions, coordination of personnel disciplinary actions, and helping to oversee
all Human Resources activities of the County. This position will also interact with Department Heads to identify and develop Human resources activities and provide recommendations for goals, objectives, and systems. Also, duties will be to conduct recruitment efforts for employees; reviews applications, screens, interviews candidates, and responds to questions from departments, employees, and others regarding human resource issues.
Requirements for this position are a Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Management, Personnel Administration or related field; 5 years additional supervisory experience in a position preferably in a human resources healthcare, prison, or governmental setting.
