Associate County Engineer

Westmoreland County is seeking qualified civil engineer applicants for the position of Associate County Engineer. The purpose of the position is to assist with the coordinate the road, bridges and park engineering activities within the County, to perform field inspections, and to supervise other engineering personnel and work crews.Overview:Job duties include providing information and assisting the County Engineer with the County’s engineering workload while supervising and directing the work of department employees as assigned, assist with the supervision of the Road Department crews and Park Department crews during projects in process, assist reconciliation reports, construction inspections, road, bridge and inspections along with preparing reports to summarize findings, along with other job duties. Qualifications: Applicants must have an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering, and 2-4 years of  civil engineering and surveying experience, a valid PA Driver License.County residency must be established within 180 days and maintained throughout employment.  Resumes and applications should be sent to:Human Resources2 N.
