Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for the Assistant Administrator position. Job duties include:
Assist the Administrator in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the facility, its programs and activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of the facility’s written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility.
Interpret the facility’s policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary or instructed.
Comply with and enforce the facility policies and procedures.
Arbitrate complaints and disputes concerning residents, families and personnel as assigned.
Assist with inspections performed by regulatory agencies.
Review and develop a plan of correction for deficiencies cited during survey inspections.
Monitor MDS data transmissions to ensure that resident assessment data is transferred accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in the recruitment and selection of competent department directors, supervisors, consultants, and other auxiliary personnel.
Report to the Administrator.
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid PA Nursing Home Administrator License.
At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Administrator or any combination of education and experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDEGE:
Must possess and demonstrate a high degree of leadership, organizational ability, and communication skills. Must possess knowledge of long term care management, policies, budgeting, personnel management, and census development is required.
County residency must be established within 180 days and maintained throughout employment.
