The Assessment Office of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, is seeking applicants for the full time position of Tax Assessor. The starting pay rate for this position is $17.47/hr. The purpose of this position is to perform ad valorem tax assessments of all types of properties located within Westmoreland County. This includes, but is not limited to: measuring new construction, inputting sketches and details of structural features, and calculating land values.Minimum requirements: College degree or a high school diploma with sufficient technical training and experience.
