Administrative Assistant-DHS

Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Department of Human Services.  This position will act as primary assistant for both the Director of Human Services as well as the Director of Community Relations and Prevention.Key Responsibilities:Reports to the Director, Community Relations and PreventionAssist with program coordination and implementationProvide administrative support to Director and other DCRP staff, including scheduling appointments, preparing materials for meetings, and handling phone and email inquiriesAssist with program coordination and implementation, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, maintaining program records and files, and tracking program activities and outcomesAssist with grant reporting and compliance activities, including compiling data and preparing reportsAssist budget preparation and tracking, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reportsAssist with developing and maintaining relationships with community partners and stakeholdersOther duties assigned by the Director (s)Applications, resumes, cover letters and salary requirements should be sent to:Human Resources Department2 N Main StreetSuite 108Greensburg, Pa 15601Or may be emailed to: applications must include Administrative Assistant-DHS in subject line.Westmoreland County is an equal opportunity employer.
