Accounts Clerk Trainee

Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Accounts Clerk Trainee in the Sheriff’s Department.The job duties include but are not limited to:Maintaining records and statistical information on the computer, reviewing audit trails, correcting errors or discrepancies, and preparing invoices as required.Being able to enter, hold, sort and close out various cases(including NCIC computer operations, warrant vacates, and warrant billing). Other duties may be required or assigned.Ability to retrieve information from files and computer database.  Update files indexes, dockets and other record systems, add new records/information (including NCIC).Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
