Zoning panel clears way for 2nd group home in Unity

Stephen Hall, executive director for Community Options in Westmoreland County, testified last March about the nonprofit’s initial group home in Unity before it was approved by the township zoning hearing board. The zoning panel on Tuesday approved the organization’s plan for a second home in the township.

Community Options’ plan to open a second group home for special needs residents in Unity has won approval from the township zoning hearing board.
