Westmoreland boosts tourism with nearly $550,000 in grants to 44 institutions, groups

The band SHEL, performed in a SummerSounds concert in 2019 at St. Clair Park in Greensburg. Friends of SummerSounds received a $15,000 marketing grant from the Westmoreland County Tourism Grant Program to promote the concerts next year.

Westmoreland County’s tourism industry will get a boost of close to $550,000 next year with grants to 44 entities that drive tourists to come to the county.
