Senior Center Services Director III – Area Agency on AgingWestmoreland County is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Center Services Director III for the Area Agency on Aging. This position is to coordinate, manage, and direct the planning, organization, staffing, direction, and evaluation of the 13 Centers for Active Adults & 14 Satellite Centers for the Area Agency on Aging. Other job duties include:Oversees the day to day operations and compliance of the Centers for Active Adults.Provides supervision, direction and technical assistance to contract providers, corporate boards, professional and non-professional staff.Coordinates information and disseminates program regulations as provided by the PA Department of Aging to all Center staff.Prepares all Center related contracts, bids and budgets.Handles all grants from PA Department of Aging relating to Centers for Active Adults and Satellite Centers.Acts as Health and Wellness Coordinator for the Agency.Devises menus with the nutrition consultant and subcontracted caterer for the congregate and in-home meal programs.Handles all Center related personnel matters.Maintains contact with participants and providers of the Centers and Agency to ensure senior citizens are provided with priority care and opportunities.Five (5) years of experience in a food service, social service or recreation program, including one (1) year in an administrative, supervisory or consultative capacity or three (3) years as a Senior Center Manager.
