Salem woman's image part of Down syndrome program in Times Square

The face of Emma Slezak, of Salem, appears on a video screen in New York City’s Times Square to kick off the National Down Syndrome Society’s annual Buddy Walk. Her photograph was included in the public awareness video put together by the society.

Getting her daughter out to local events or new experiences has been a goal for Peggy Slezak.
