Recorder of Deeds Administrative Assistant

Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the Administrative Assistant position in the Recorder of Deeds. The purpose of the position is to record and scan legal documents, perform data entry and quality control on recorded documents, answer phone calls, assist customers in our copy & research center, while delivering a high level of customer service.  In addition, the administrative assistant supports management with various tasks as needed.Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.  This opening is a union position, pay grade 11, starting at $20.30/hr, 32.5 hours a week. Benefits available include:  Pension plan, 13 paid holidays, vacation days, sick days, personal days, bereavement days, health insurance, vision & dental insurance, and life insurance.Required for All Applicants1.      A Westmoreland County Application 2.      Criminal History Record Information Report (Background Check).
