Pittsburgh-area developer eyes purchase of former Derry ceramics plant site

The former site of the Porcelain Park multi-tenant industrial complex and the previous Industrial Ceramics plant is seen on Dec. 30 in Derry Borough. The current owner, the Westmoreland County Land Bank, has an agreement with a proposed buyer seeking to redevelop the 18-acre property for light industrial use.

A long-vacant former industrial site in the middle of Derry Borough could see renewed life if all goes well with the planned purchase of the 18-acre site by a Pittsburgh-area developer.
