Penn-Trafford middle schools claim county lead in building performance results

The “Trafford Triumphs” recognition program was established at Trafford Middle School as a way to honor students who exemplify the qualities of academic improvement, extra effort, good behavior, willingness to help others, attitude, character, and respectfulness. The school ranked first among Westmoreland County middle schools in achievment last year.

Trafford Middle School used a flexible grouping approach to teach students last year, helping it to the top overall state performance score — 85.3 — among middle and junior high schools in Westmoreland County.
