Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for the Assistant Director of Nursing. The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Nursing Service assessing resident care needs and implementing appropriate action. Implement nursing policies and procedures. Oversee supervision of staffing in the nursing department and supervise the quality of nursing care provided to residents. In addition, the selected candidate will directly supervise some nursing sub-systems. Position responsible for coverage in the absence of the DON and may be required to work the nursing unit as needed. Position requires flexibility and on-call.
Applicants must have five (5) years working experience as an RN with long-term care experience, functioning as supervisor, head nurse, or charge nurse. Must be a graduate of a nursing school approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners and possess a current license to practice nursing in the state of Pennsylvania; Bachelors degree preferred.
