AI opens new worlds for the blind

Chris Donahue of Brighton Heights uses his Ray-Ban AI Glasses while sewing aprons for a government contract as part of VisAbility Pittsburgh’s industries division on May 5. VisAbility’s industries division employs workers who are blind or have low vision for a variety of jobs in textiles, assembly, screen printing and more.

When Chris Donahue opens the door to let his dog out, he is unable to see where the animal runs.
