18th century artifacts get room with a view at Fort Ligonier Museum

Fort Ligonier collections manager Meghan Budinger, right, and intern Austin Hodge of Hunker unpack “George Washington, Porthole Portrait” by Rembrandt Peale on Thursday in the new collections storage room at the fort museum. The fort owns this high-quality print of the original circa 1823 painting.

A place for everything and everything in its place applies equally to spontoons and shards.
